The impression is sent to our laboratory and model work is prepared as usual

Use the Cadent iTero™ 3D Scanner to create a digital impression (skip to step 3!) |

Model is scanned by our 3D optical scanner and the digital file is created.
The scanner utilizes a 2 camera and 3 axis motion system to scan tooth and bite geometry.

The digital file or 3D scan is used to design prosthesis with CAD software.
The software allows our technicians to find margins, build up substructures for porcelain support, build dental structures, and accurately determine interproximal contacts and occlusion.

The CAD files are sent to a precision milling or printing machine to be manufactured.
The mill uses a high precision spindle which follows a CAD tool-path to shape the wax or porcelain and create the tooth framework or copings. The printing machine layers resins or wax to create a 3D model from the digital design file. |
