PATIENT SERVICES


Has your doctor referred you to Protec dental for custom shading of your ceramic restorations, orthodontic appliance or denture repair? You've come to right place. Please note: an appointment is required for all patient services. We do not accept walk-ins. Please click here to book an appointment online or call our customer service at 604-873-8000. Appointments usually last approximately 15 minutes during which time Protec technicians will access your case while you wait. Occassionally a second appointment may be required.

 

CERAMIC CUSTOM SHADING

During your custom shading appointment, Protec will access your correct shade and characteristics using shade and characteristic guides, Vita Easy Shade computerized reporting and Digital Photography.


Please have your dentist complete the Custom Shading Form and bring it with you to your appointment.

 

APPLIANCE REPAIR

Please bring your broken orthodontic appliance or denture with you, as well as a model of your teeth, if it is available. We will repair the acrylic and/or metal areas and will fit the appliance to the model. As we are not licensed in intra-oral procedures, you will need to make an appointment with your dentist and return for further adjustments.

 

APPOINTMENT REQUEST FORM

Appointments may be booked within Protec's hours of business from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Please call our customer service at 604-873-8000 or book an appointment online (all fields are required). We will confirm your reservation by email or by phone within 24 hours. Please ensure you dentist has completed a Custom Shading form and bring a model of your teeth for all orthodontic appliance and denture repairs.

Public Transport

By Train:
We are located approximately a 10 minute walk from Science World-Main Street Station. From the station head south on Main Street (towards the McDonalds) turn right at 2nd Avenue. Protec is two blocks down just before Ontario Street.

We are also located an approximate 15 minute walk from the new Olympic Village Skytrain Station on the Canada Line. From this station head left (east) on 2nd Avenue. Follow 2nd Avenue until you pass Ontario Street. Protec is half a block up on the right.
